I just bought some 6.5" Infiniti's for the rear deck, and 5.25" Alpines for the front doors. Removing the stock speakers is no problem, but its the wiring that im clueless on. There is a wiring harness, but i have no adaptor to plug into and install on my new speakers.

Is there a wiring adapter out there i need to buy? or do i need to splice a few wires from the harness?

Is your stock setup Bose or not?

The none bose speakers have a amp on one of them and use a low signal wire from the head unit. This means you will have to wire up the new speakers to an amp or right to the head unit.

Ok, well i have the rear deck speakers removed right now.

To put my concern blatantly....am i going to be able to splice a few wires from the harness and just wire the speakers like that? Or am i going to have to run a wire through the car from the headunit, or wire them to an amp?

You can just put connectors on the factory wiring or splice and connect them to your front speakers no problem. With the rears it may prove easier to run wires direct from the HU to the speakers so as to bypass the small dia wiring to the rear
