So you know how i posted alrady 2 threads about my troubles with carbonio...I tried to install the damn thing twice non professionally, so this morning i took it to audi service where they do those installations, and dropped it off. (keep in mind this is after 2 weeks since i got the intake). I jsut got a call saying that the intake is for the wrong car, but the carbon fiber cover is right...They took out my intake anyways so i have to pay a 30 dollar fee......
I already messages this guy on ebay twice saying that it doesnt fit and im going to audi to install it professionally. he didnt even write back, so i just wrote him one last nasty letter on ebay and if he doesnt replay by today, then its BASHING TIME.
IM SO MADDD, I WANT A CARBONIOOOOOOOO!!!

Seems like this has happened to a few people...or maybe it's just my memory. :) But isn't there a way to confirm the right part for the right car?
Good luck on this one - eBay disputes can be rough. I hope it works out okay.

Meh. Carbonio is overrated.
All the intakes provide the same gain...none...and pretty much the same sound, and make the DV more audible.
Carbonio looks the nicest though.
I had a whole bunch of problems with mine too. Bought from ECS, it came sealed but missing parts and the instructions were missing a page. Replacement parts came, the inatke was on for about a week and the carbon lid hazed and discolored like it couldnt take the heat. Carbonio replaced it free of charge, needless to say it was a hassle.

I am just curious - how much did you pay for it?
On Ebay - did it save you a lot of money?

cost me 300 plus shipping, about 310...but it was a gip, it was a b6 intake..mother fugga fooled me.....but i get my money back, you just dont lose 300 dolars like that,
