I was looking around in the classifieds and saw some grooved bilstein sports with about 50,000 miles on them and used for about two years. Are these two used/old to buy. He is asking like $325 shipped. should I not bother and just get new ones or try to talk him down in price. (keep in mind i am a college student)

and i searched quite a bit on this and didnt want to waste anymore time....

First off, they should be fine, second, the whole "im a college student" thing is kinda lame, if you are a college student and don't have any money, then you shouldn't be buying crap for your car

I'm in college and modding on a semi-tight budget...don't listen to s4bum. Do what you want with you car, save up some cash, learn to spend wisely and collect parts.

Enjoy modding.

Sorry, dude...budget or not...why the heck would you pay $325 for 2 year old shox when you can get them new for around $500 or less? They're probably OK but just wait and buy new.

true...50k on them for $325. When new they are about $100-150 more.

I got a quote (non-perched) for $436 (can't remember which site, sorry). Look around. Not hard to find.

yup i've seen them for sale in the low 400's...easy to find. i was just pointing that 325 with 50k on them is not a good deal
