So i ran some logs today, still trying to find out what is wrong with my car.

Heres the long term fuel trims:
Idle Correction: +0.8%
Part Throttle Correction: -10.8%

So this means im running rich at part throttle. Idle being good should point to a boost leak? i guess this just means the N75 is just not kicking open the wastegate until it still reaches the right amount of boost? so the leak isnt significant enough to not allow the turbo to pressurize to 20+psi?

Caps was 8.0 (still)

Heres the log. Id love help getting the caps into the 6's with the other k04 cars:

Thats a whole lot of timing retard

Also, need more logs. Where is IATs, 115 (block for boost), etc, etc.

P.S. Maf sensor appears to be working normally.

you are pulling a TON of timing. Definantly check for boost leaks though. Might be tough if you don't have a compressor to charge the pipes to listen for leaks though. AFR looks alright.

Don, he doesn't have a map sensor so he can't log boost.

Well its clear the timing pull is greatly affecting your performance. What is not clear is what is causing all that pull.

are you throwing any codes?...more than likely a boost leak, only odd thing is that your still putting up 20+ pounds of boost...im not too sure about k04s and the maf but im wondering if you need more air, closer to 200 g/s? (this is the part where someone with a good k04 setup chimes in and lets us know whats up)

could the boost leak be causing the turbo to work harder = hotter air temps = timing retard?

no codes by the way... ive been lucky up to this point with very few CEL's...

I'm assuming by the MAF reading it's an AEB. What software and what intercooler?
The timing pull could be from either a boot leak or a crappy intercooler.

well its the stock side mount intercooler, but its also just the regular GIAC file, which doesnt call for an aftermarket intercooler...

but running 20+psi is going to heat soak that stock SMIC pretty quick which is most likely why you are seeing high timing corrections. Most of the standard K04 chips run under 18psi. If you throw on a FMIC you will see those timing #'s drop big time. Even a standard chip for the K04 is going to see a improvement when used with a FMIC since it will see some timing pull too, the chip is tuned this way so a FMIC will help improve power and control power loss by timing corrections.

build a home depot MBC. I did mine for 16 bucks and works awesome. Run it with the n75 to drop te boost
