Creative Exhaust + testpipe.... too loud?

been looking for exhaust for a long time,

Love Creative dual tips but afraid it might be too loud, check all the sound clips but cant tell as they are all short.

for those with the same set up, kindly post your your opinion or rate it between 1 to 10 (loudest)

really loud.. i had that set up for 2 days.. and removed the test pipe as it was too loud! but you can get resonators... but i'm CVT.. thats probably another reason that it was too loud!

I have the Britalman Exhaust and Test pipe. YES it is very loud !! Cold starts in the morning are loud too. Either you get used to it like I did, or you take off the test pipe. My car is 6 speed...so it's pretty dam loud. Louder then those clips you saw. I believe that car was an automatic. Automatics are quieter...

I would say my car would be a 9/10 for 10 being the loudest. So it's up to you if you feel comfortable driving around in a very loud car. But I love it. I dont mind the sound at all. It sounds mean.. Just the way turbo engines should sound like...maybe without the test pipe ? [:D]

i went to a meet and this guy had creative and i think with testpipe not sure but dude it was loud and so sick sounding, i mean i thought it was a b5 s4 with an exhaust it was so sick bro, creative is the best for our cars get it trust..louder is better...

heheheh... nah man, this a4 is my daily drive, want it to be as silent as possible...

If you want looks, quality, and performance without the annoying sound...go for a Milltek...

I ran one on my GTI and all you heard was the whine of the turbo and a slight rumble...it was almost too quiet at times. Made 8 Hp on the dyno in addition to the initial 15hp from my 3" downpipe.

How about running the Britalman Exhaust without a Test Pipe ?? It will be alot quieter..

I have this setup too, sounds amazing. Its extremely smooth. To me it sounds more like a 6 than a turbo 4. And higher in the rpms, it actually gets quieter--figure that one out. I had a milltek on my old GLI and loved it, but this car still sounds refined, quiet, but has a low toned almost porsche-like rumble.

When I had the Flow Master on my Ridgeline it used to do that, when I left the rpms at 4500~5000 withot moving the much it was like the car was mute.

The creative quad exhaust with test pipe is pretty loud but in an extremely aggressive and pleasing tone. when the weather is nice and i am driving with the windows down, every time i am able to go through the gears i get a smile on my face. it's just incredible how great the exhaust sounds. if you are concerned with sound you can possibly go with the single tip exhaust or go without the test pipe.

g2s is another good option... but greedy does not offer anything for tip quattro [down]

testpipe is a must for me, find it hard to let go the extra horses[:D] ...

another good option is oetty full system, but the price is just plain stupid.

what i am going do now is get an apr/milltek and put on a quad tip or oval shape tip just like the rs4 one. but havent see any tips i like yet. .
