View Full Version : Had fun with a 350Z tonight

So tonight i go over to a friends house for some swimming. I Picked up my girlfriend and two of her friends so we took my Dad's car which is an A8L W12. We go and have a good time at my friend's house and it comes time to leave at about 1. We are just cruising down a wide open 6-lane street when i see some xenon headlights coming up behind me. I just go the speed limit to try to see what it is. It turns out to be two kids, my age or a little younger (about 20) in it. The start making rude symbols of fallatio at the girls in the back seat. We pull up to each other at a stop light and tell him to stop. He flips me off so now I am mad. I put it in "manual" mode and use the paddles to shift it at redline. I absolutely crush this crush, at about 100 i let off.
At the next light he pulls up. I roll down my window and tell the guy he just got beat my a family sedan with 3 hot girls sitting with me. I then tell him to have a good night and roll my window back up. He would not pull up next to me again.[cool]

hahaa nice kill...
similar thing happened to me today. Young kid in a 350z thinks hes all hard shit. I know he wants to play. He guns it quickly before me on the highway, by the time I hit 4th I'm just walking past this guy. Like no comparison. This happened twice. Last run guy freakin punches it a good 1-2 seconds before me and I contemplate to follow or not since I am not a street racer and I don't like endangering others, but it was pretty wide open...by the time I decide to go at it hes started to pull but the mighty 2.0T starts to pull and I'm on his ass the WHOLE entire way and as soon as I start to pull he shuts down...at the exit hes all like damn that thing is fast!!!
sad thing is my car isnt running the way it was before!!

do you even have to shift in "manual" mode? is it like tiptronic, where it shifts by itself at redline?
