does anybody know where the antenna is at??
is it the little one over the dash or is it the shark fin??????
i ordered an avic-d3 and need to know where to run the antenna to....
thanks in advance...

Pretty much.
I'd suggest go to navplus.us to check for DIYs.

Most people use their own antenna in a retrofit, placed either behind the instrument cluster, in the fuse box, or on top of the dashboard.

Cant you just wire into the gps where it meets the head unit behind the dash as opposed to trying to take it out of the shark fin?

it is over at the passenger B pillar....for the Nav.,....also on the right of the rear window there are more connectors...don't know what are those but at least you have an idea where they all are....GL
