Anyone ever done it? Would love to see some pictures, even of A4's that came with wood dash stock. This color is pretty nice.

I know I'm in the minority, but I love the color of my interior as well as the birch trim.

Could you pull your handbrake much harder/higher than that..? [;)]

Vwong...you mind sharing the scoop on your steering wheel? I'd be kind of interesting in pursuing that, although I do love the feel of the OEM one. Off topic, but I'd also love to find a matching leather shifter and ebrake.
Regarding aftermarket kits, have you tried sites like exoticwooddash.com? I bought some matching pieces for my SUV and I've been pleased. Honestly, I haven't thought to look for the Audi because other than the two pieces I mentioned above it's already perfect. :) Nobody does interiors like Audi.

They're all factory wood. In addition to the factory wood trim (which includes the dash, area around the shifter, and door panels), I got the wood steering wheel and shift knob option. I didn't want wood at first, but now I'm liking it. [:p]
