Im seriously considering getting the RNS-E but i have a few questions. My current set-up is a Symphony II system with Phatnoise Mp3 storage in my B6 A4. I have a few questions and yes ive searched:

1) can i still connect the phatnoise to the rns-e
2) is there any way to put videos on the sd cards and play them off there?
3) is there a max size of sd cards which can be used, like 4gb or something?
4) is there any way to make the rns-e play normal dvd's, like a software upgrade or something, i dont want to add additional video devices
5) can i burn dvd's full of mp3's and play them on the unit?
6) how is the map coverage for canada?

1) Yes but the phatnoise needs a new profile for the RNS-E
2) No
3) 4GB SD (not SDHC) Cards with max. 512 objects (Files/Folders/Playlists) per card
4) No
5) No, the DVD drive reads CD-ROM with MP3 only

6) i can't comment on the extent of the canadian maps, but the North American Nav DVD is for both the US and Canada so its a fair assumption that it's on par with the US maps. it finds ~95% of the streets here in texas. only the REALLY new ones are missing.
