I'm not 100% sure that A5 will fall under B8 platform

Title of this forum section could be missleading because B8 will be introduced along with new 2009 A4 as continuance of B7 platform which include A4 / S4 / RS4 models.

Since letter A is not used to avoid confusion, B is already in use as well as C and D...I can only imagine that A5 will get something like E8 (just speculation)

It will use the same (new) one as the A4/B8, but could get an other type-name.

Just going off what we've heard, as sources are calling it the B8 platform.
