does euro rs4 seats fit a4 sedan?

i been checking ebay germany for a while and they are always selling the euro rs4 that honestly i love so my questions is do they fit meaning if they were to be purchased would they fit a a4 sedan??

those ones are expensive but usually i've seen them for between 1000 to 2000 making the conversion from euros to dollars

i think someone here tried installing the s4 seats ans kept getting the airbag off light and couldnt figure out how to fix it and he gave up.. besides that.. physically i does fit .. i think

I don't believe they will not "safely". Our country is crazy with safety standards and these seats are NOT in the RS4 because of some air bag issue from what i've read.

aaah crap they look so cool and nice and sometimes in germany those things go for so cheap like the steering wheel i saw for like 300usd the other day but it was to late to bid.

Those Euro RS4 seats have no airbags (nor are they power, the US RS4 seats are a no-cost option)

The seats would fit in the A4 as they come with the sliders.

Airbag functionality is to be determined.

There is no way to get the coding to work with a US A4- they also also have bolsters that squeeze tighter when you hit the sport mode button in the euro car.

A better route would be to buy a pair of new Recaro Sportster CS aftermarket seats for ~$1,400 ea, and then figure out the resistor mod to keep the airbag light off.

Nadroj put the S4 recaros in his A4 but the connectors arent the same and he couldnt get rid of the Airbag light.

wasnt that because he used b6 s4 seats..i dont think b7s4 seats will have the same probem....but as most said..the Rs4 seats dont have airbags..so youll probably end up with airbag light and another headache =T so if u have a headache either way go with the Recaro CS ..=)
