Those both for carpets and upholstery? Why not just use an extractor for both? just curious

the air mover is for rapid drying of the carpet fiber, upholstery and headliner. Along with flushing the vehicle after it has been ozoned.

the Ozone machine is specifically designed to remove malodors. It does this by cleaving molecules with odor in half.. It how ever takes time.

It will not dry rapidly enough up here. To suit me. In many cases I do much more than most detailers.

For carpet i may go over it twice. This depends if i am removing stains, then cleaning or if it was just hammered by particulate dirt. In this instance the faster i can get it dry after i put the fiber protectant on it. the less likly hood of having any dirt wick up to the surface. Carpet and fiber dry from the top bottum up. The face of the fiber evaporates and will if given enough time wick dirt up to the surface via capilary action. Rapid drying will help stop this.

In perticular it allows me to rapidly dry the headliner. Which means i can get it slightly wetter when cleaning. Which means i can clean it twice in a row instead of waiting an hour or more between cleanings. if you over wet a dirty headliner it will watermark on you. Being a near permant stain water marking is a bad thing. Also moisture left in the headliner can delaminate the fabric of the headliner from the backing material when given enough time. So again rapid drying helps.

For leather, i must wait between 20-40 min between each cleaning, conditioning and protection step. Setting up the blowers to passivly dry can shorten this step for me. By helping remove the moisture leaving the leather with just the conditioners or protectants it needs. This allows me to push this step forward more during the day. This can give me 1-2 hours more to deal with other little aspects of the car that i may not have had time to deal with, or have had to split up in the past.

Finally during the car can be flushed with the blower moving air inside. This can better help the ozone process by circulating the ozone better. After ozone this can be set up to fluch the car free of ozone. Ozone is toxic in quanity. It is imperitive that you flush a vehicle before you get in and continue on.
