Sky full of high clouds today, moderate temps, and low winds - made for a a wonderful detailing day. Unfortunately, a bit of haze to go with those clouds meant ugly natural light for pics.
My wife bought a new Lexus last month, and this was its first detail. Paint was in great shape - obviously - so didn't take much effort. I detailed the Audi last month, using Optimum Compound and Menzerna FPII, followed by Poorboy's EX, so it too was in good shape. Here's the process.
Both cars:
Wash w/ Poorboy's shampoo - wheels & wells first, then rest of the car.
Follow up on wheels w/ QD, then Poorboy's wheel sealant.
Poorboy's BnB on tires - two light coats with buff after 20 minutes.
Stoner's on glass, Zymol on leather; vacuum carpets & clean all-weather mats.
Lexus:
Four Star UPC & UPP by hand.
Audi:
Poorboy's Pro Polish & Natty's Blue by hand.
SUV in background on some shots:
Not a damn thing - it got neglected today. :(
No dramatic befores & afters, but here are some shots I snapped whenever the lighting seemed good.

Since the finish on the Lexus is a metallic silver I had no doubt UPP would make the finish pop. I was curious how NB would look on the bright red and was really pleased with the reflection and wetness it generated.
