I'd like to voice a complaint.
I enjoy this forum and I don't get upset about many things and I don't have any ties to the people envolved in the thread, however I feel that a mod has overstep their duties and handled a situation poorly. the thread I'm referring to is here:
http://audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=122738
the situation is that a moderator re-wrote someone's post. I understand that the mod are trying to keep the board civil, and that poeple often times don't go out of their ways to be polite to one another in their posts, but I cannot think of any good reason, no-matter how offensive a post may be, that a moderator should ever re-write some one's post.
Everyone is intitled to their opions and has the freedom to say what they want. The poster is responsible for what they write and if a post is deemed ofensive by a moderator, the moderator should delete the post, warn them, suspend them. or ban them, rather than write something and pass it off as someone else's post.
