You will RARELY find a modded 12v. Mostly because it will never be as fast as a 1.8t with minimal mods.

i know.. but i bought the car not thinking.. and here im am... i know my next car is gona be an 02 S4 2.7 biturbo *sleeper* MUAHAHAHA AND an older quattro and that is gona be my project car (i wana make it into the 85 rally car) with the turbo cherp and everything...

You can't chip a 12v and that's a really expensive cone filter from lltek. You should check out the 2.8 thread (http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=110257) and the 12 development forum (http://www.audiworld.com/forum/12v.html) on AW.

I would recommend a bored out MAF, Velocity stack and a DIY 3" silicone hose kit. The blau TB is nice, but you can get much better quality from Mance over on AW.

You got the wrong car man...

TB mod is an ok mod. Intakes from litek are overpriced... just get a K&N 57i. Custom cat backs work great and are a lot cheaper than borla. NOS? Maybe... chip? NOPE! Jet won't even do it.

steps for modding a 12v

step one: sell car

step two: buy 1.8t or 2.7t depending on budget.

step three: mod it

nothing wrong with the 12v, unless you want a fast car haha. i have the 12v myself, and i've done the intake, port and polished throttle body, bored MAF and exhaust and it runs ok...but definitely not what i would consider fast. i'd go for the mods i stated, a good suspension, call it good, and buy a bike like i did haha, plenty fast and will whoop on almost any car haha.

Take it out and replace it with a VR6.034 will soon be offering entire VR6 conversion kits for those tired of the 1.8T.

V6 engines are a thing of the past[:p]
