so, today when i was almost empty, i put 20 bucks in. My gas light never turned off. I have drivin it for about 30 miles since then and it still wont turn off. I have turned off the car and everything, no luck. Anyone know what up? Am i just going to have to wait until my gas gets low to maybe reset its self?

try filling up. might be a stuck sensor. maybe just needs to be rattled a little. Drive over some railroad tracks at about 80 maybe . . .

well im thinking if i drive over tracks at 80 mph, im going to bend my wheels or something... not good

i think im going to have to let it get the the point where the light turns on, then fill it up

My gas gauge doesnt like to work below a half tank. The needle will stay down, and the light comes on, I think I need to replace the sending unit, I'm just lazy, and I'm gonna wait till its warm.

I think the problem is you forgot to put gas in it. Cash doesn't go in the gas tank. It says it in the manual.

How many gallons did you put in? What does the gauge read?

well my gas gauge works fine, i put 20 bucks in and iit went right over 1/2 tank.. like it usually does, but the gas light still wont turn off. When ever i start up my car, it does the little beep noise to tell me its low, but its not
