BMW's use 4300k iirc..

driving in front of a brand new bimmer the other night and it hurt my eyes to look in my rearview mirror at it. even with the auto dimming mirror.. that shit was brighter than the sun

so they are the ones that kinda look blueish as they are comeing at you and are bright as hell.

The projector determines a lot. The Same Kelvin bulb in a BMW headlight and an Audi headlight will look different to oncoming traffic.

the 4300k bulbs are nice... you dont want to go super bright then the output is not so great.

yes, 4300 is the highest output and the most white

the higher you go the more blueish purple they get ,and the less visible light

I have 6500K's and love em. Great output and looks killer

When determing a bulb K rating you need to really determine what is more imporant.
Extra Color or Brigher Output

Also I don't recommend an HID kit, but instead buy a set of D2S to H7 adapter rings and find a set of good quality OEM brand ballasts. I also recommend using an OEM brand HID bulb. Philips and Osram are the best in the industry for bulb quality. Hella Gen 3's or Gen 4's are some of the best but a little spendy. The are used on A6's and A8's depending on year.

One reason to choose H7 adapter rings is that If you ever decide to swap out your H7 projectors to D2S you have all the HID components already.
