Driver-side buttons on "doorway"

anyone knows what are the two buttons on driver side doorway?

the upper one seems to be the back truck release, but mines doesn't work. the lower one looks like the "wireless" sign in networking, but i bet it's nothing related to that. any idea?

nevermind, i was advised to check if my glove box was locked, which caused those keys not working. thanks!
