View Full Version : BBK and Wheel help!!

I had asked this question on another post and i think one of my questions got burried. I got a lot of good feedback and that was really helpful. I think I will be going with the porsche boxster calipers with A8 or equivilent rotors. Now i need to figure out what wheel and tire package to get. I do know know what will fit an what will not. I only know that my 18 in HP EVO's are going to be history. I do not really want to spend much more than 2 grand on a decent set of wheels and tires. So with that in mind what are my options other than buying some used wheels, which i have no problem doing if the price is right.
Thanks in advance

PureMS.com has their own kit for the boxster/A8 setup and they also have a template to see if the wheel will clear the brakes. You can just download the template, print it off, and take it with you when you go wheel shopping. If you are going to buy used, you can send the person you are buying the wheels from that same template and have them check for you.

Thats my best guess. Good luck. If you aren't getting a great deal with your boxster setup, you should see what kind of price bOOOstedAudi can get you. He has the hook up.

There are some specific audi retailers that will state whether the wheels will fit with brake mods, but they aren't very thorough in their listing and they are for new wheels. Best of luck

Try and find some used LM's. They fit over the Boxter brakes nicely. If you wait it out...you'll find a deal.
