ok guys, im gonna get new wheels soon but i cant decide what to get. im looking at some iforged wheels, and 1 set of jline wheels and all of them are 3 piece. now keep in mind that the wheels will be in an anthracite finish to go with a CF hood. what design would look best on the car? thats what i cant decide....

EDIT: this is now a poll

option 1:

20's on a B5?

I like all the i-forged ones, you can't go wrong. For myself though, i'd take #2.

i would have made a poll, but nobodsy uses the polls when you post like that.

good stuff so far because i liked 1 and 2 the most, but jline is a tad cheaper so thats why i posted that one. plus, i think the jline would look good on the car....the spokes slim down compared to the iforged version.

In my opinion, option 2 and 3 would look better in an 18 or even 19", but if you go smaller than that, option 3 would look better. I dont really like the copper/gold but on the other hand trying something new is always fun.[up]

fred, i know you are selling but im looking at getting 3 piece and 18". but this is another good question, is there real benefit between 2 piece and 3 piece wheels?

The only real benefit of a 3 pc. wheels is that you can have any number of custom offsets made for your specific application. But if you don't have a special need than a 2 pc wheel will work just fine. I'm sure there are other benefits but none that I can think of right now besides the price, 3 pc = $$ ....... [:D] and I'm not sure that is a benefit.

I really like option 3, but I wouldn't going bigger than 18/ 19, 19 is going to be very rough as it is..

im thinking its between 1 or 4 since they are very similar and option 2.

can anyone elaborate if there is any benefit over having a 3 piece wheel instead of a 2 piece?

I say #3. Actually, I say get some 17" lightweight fliks wrapped in some drag radials, sell your body kit, go back to stock and take that money and the money you saved on the wheels, build a 2.0 stroker w/ a worked head, get custom one off intake mani from Bob Q, a custom exh. mani from the guy in canada and get a nice GT35R to top it all off. Oh and tuning from CTapp of course. That's your recipe for a high 10/low 11 sec daily driver.

lol, i would keep the body kit. i already spent money on that. ive wanted new rims for a while, and this will be the last set i buy for this car. my engine is built fine for me right now, and im just trying to finish some exterior stuff. ive already thought about going bigger, but then what would i do next year??? lol, on a serious note i am going to build the engine more...its just not going to be right now. plus, i wouldnt get a gt35r turbo cuz i think thats to big for my needs. something a little smaller would be better and i really dont want to build a 2.0. i just want to beef up the internals strap a bigger turbo and all the accessories on and have fun.

un-pimp-z-a4, the wheels are on my car still. winter did some damage this year, but i dont care since i planned on getting new rims anyways.
