anyone else have their stoptech rotors unevenly worn? Less than 1 year with Axxis ultimate pads and autox'd 1 time.

my buddies stop techs are warped as hell after 9 months and he never tracked the car

major rotor wear, massive groove in driver side rotor. Hawk HPS+ pads. proper bed in, never been tracked or autox'd.

man this stucks. im looking at getting stoptechs, but im not so sure anymore. something that costs that much shouldnt have this kind of issue.

yeah... an additional $700 or more. id rather get and ecs tuning porsche brake kit.

has anyone tried to contact stoptech about this problem?

Well.... when I was in the mustang business, stoptechs were they best you could get and were made for racing.... Maybe they shouldnt be for a Daily Driver??? ( I dont even know what kind of stoptechs ya'll are talkin about but this is what I know for mustangs)

I have stoptechs and my rotors aren't warped. they do make a weird creaking sound when under load, but it's not hurting the performance so I'm letting it slide.

I spoke to Matt from stoptech and he said that grooving is a common issue with cross-drilled rotors. It doesn't affect braking performance...it just looks weird. I bought a set of the less aggressive Axxis Deluxe and will drive them lightly for the first 100miles before I really bed them in.
