these last couple days my engines been smelling kinda bad [confused] . when i stressed it when i first got it, i gave off this weird odor, but starting at about sunday, even if i just go about my normal routine... light smoke comes out of my engine (i know because at night i left my head lights on and i saw the smoke image). so i was wondering if this is happening cause my car is 10 years old or is there something wrong or i have no idea what is going on. [=(] HELP!

Sounds like you have a leak? Either oil or coolant, with a funny smell i would check coolant

I have this exact same problem.....I thought it was because my exhaust gaskets were bad. But when I installed my Milltek last week, I replaced all of them. And guess what?....STILL smells bad. I'm thinking that its the cat, because when I opened up my hood, I saw some kind of smoke rising from it (I tighted the HELL outta all the bolts, so I dont think its an exhaust leak)....I dunno....sorry to thread jack, but I wanna know too!

Mine smells like oil, because when I bought it, it needed a valve cover job, theres oil residue cooking all over.

my guess would be if it its coming out of the left side headlight its a bad coolent seal on the turbo, i had that when i first installed my turbo and it was burning off the grease

Mine did too. After i fixed it and cleaned up the oil around it, no more smell.[wrench]

Did you do an oil change recently and got a little on the engine maybe? Im just trying to think of the easiest solution

I had a leaking valve cover gasket, which would cause oil to leak onto the turbo. It would smell like burnt oil pretty bad and would smoke a little if I really got on it.
