I got new Audi Sport floor mats and i have scrubbed them with a brush using Dawn and then Simple Green. They still have some odor.
Any other ideas to kill the rubber smell?
bleach?

The smell should go away eventually. I'd just wait it out rather than add more odors to it. If you try to clean it with bleach, you'll get that bleach odor added to the rubber smell you already have. They're new, so they'll smell like rubber for a bit. You can always try an air freshner in the car.

I think I remember reading/hearing a process that involved soaking them in a bathtub with a certain product to get rid of the odor. That's probably not too helpful. [headbang]

The odor from my all-weather mats went away with a quick bath in car wash shampoo. You might want to try using a water & baking soda solution. Good luck...

The odor is an off gasing of some of the manufacturing and storage oils. A good bath, then hang them out side to fully dry for a day or two should significantly reduce their odor.
I would not try bleach.

When I wash my car I wash my sport mats... They can get pretty dirty after snowboarding trips. I wash them with the same wash solution that I wash my car with. After that spray the mats with a hose and hang dry. Works for me. Mine never smell, but it might have had a brand new smell a year ago?
