Just got my GTRS installed and I wanna see what this thing can do with some 100oct. Does Ron's still sell race gas? Anywhere else you guys know of? I haven't run race gas in a few years, i'm guessing it must cost a grip now.

Thanks!

Yeah, I think Ron's sells race gas? Also, check 76 on King street. I think they have race gas on pump there....not too sure, it's been a while since, I past there. Lemme know what you find.

Called the 76 on King st. and they have 100oct unleaded for $8.50gal. Thats a little more reasonable but still damn expensive for gas. Oh well, might have to chance some of that.

Damn, $8.50 a gallon?......That would be $110.00 on a full tank for me.

Haha yeah its still crazy but I called Ron's first and almost laughed at the guy when he said $65 for 5 gallons. What is that, $260 for a full tank.

Buy Torco - Rad Motorsports in Waipahu or the Bike shop next to Tai VW. Conveniently, I bought the last of it at Rad a couple of days ago so if you need it right away, you'll have to go to Wahiawa...

How much does that Torco stuff cost? And how much gas do you mix 1 bottle with?

$25-30. Mix in whole bottle when near empty, fill about 6 gallons of gas for 100+ octane. You can mix more gas like 8-10 gallons for what the bottle states as 100 octane still but I'm hesitant to dilute that much and risk the motor on the dyno.

You should try that Toulene stuff. A real good alternative and a whole lot cheaper. I think Gino uses that stuff too. I'ma try it too, one day.

not only is racegas more expensive, the regular gas is ridiculously more expensive now. We're paying like $2.98 / gallon on premium gas. Must be nice to be able to pull into 76 in Laguna Niguel and just pump 100 octane for $5/gallon huh?

ouch, i was hoping it wouldn't be that much/gal. In Cali, I was thinking $5.10 was super expensive for 100. I guess I'll have to be satisfied with premium for a while.

Do you guys have 94 octane?

thats not THAT bad, really. we pay maybe 20-25 cents per gallon less in orange county, I was expecting it to be well into the $4 range. Alas, the cost of living in paradise. I'd trade you. I love Hawaii. [up]
