I have a -07 black car myself and looking for some mirrorcovers in matte finish
but i cant find some....only the In-pro chrome ones[:(] and the OE S4 alus but they dont come for free here in europe....

If you buy the chrome ones cant you take it to a body shop and have them matte them for you?

My vote is for matte. The look has semi-grown on me, but honestly I prefer body color to any modification. To my eyes, while there are always the right pieces for contrast and a bit of bling, mirrors aren't one of them.

I have the matte, to match the wheels, rails, and grille. IMO chrome looks better on Hummers and Cadillacs.

matte if you had to choose...it looks great with the brush aluminum grille trim, and wheels...but if you go with black/anthracite/darker wheels it sticks out really awkward....

i hate mine now..but i don't have a choice..stupid guy who borrowed my caps traded his car in with them...arghhhh

ps im saying this from a black car owner perspective...this does NOT APPLY TO OTHER COLOR CARS...

I went with the chrome to go with the window trim and also that my car is silver and the matte would barely be noticeable. But for you I say go matte.
