Hey u guys i have a resolution on my problem with the vibrations from snub mount i posted this a few days ago:

http://audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=113451

and i took it to another shop to have problem fixed he adjested the snub and and raised my idle from abount 820 to 920 so i would have no vibrations @ a stop now in doing so i was wondering would this effect my engines longevity in any way or will it cause any other problems?

BTW car feels great

I don't see why raising the RPM by 100 would cause any problems... I mean the snub mount should be fine. My A4 and Vitaly's A4 both idle ~920rpm-940rpm

What was the solution? Did you remove it or break it in?

well you are using more gas at idle. and you are making the engine work harder. but none of that will be a big deal for you at all so i wouldn't worry about it. hey, if you go BT in the future your car will idle smoother too with big injectors and possibly cams. but thats not the point..

interesting way to take away the snub's added vibrations. most people just trim it down so it isn't so tight in the bracket
