i bought some e-codes off someone on the vortex awhile back and had to get one replaced (long story). but the one that i kept didnt have a wiring harness and the wires on the inside of the housing that usually go to the connectors for the lightbulbs had been cut.

i got impatient and on that headlight i cut the whole stock wiring harness off and spliced in new wires that went straight into the headlights. theyre still easy to change the bulbs and everything and it all works perfect. but im worried about resale..it doesnt quite look like something that would make someone want to buy a car lol

should i just try to make it look a little prettier or should i start buying a bunch of replacement parts?

I guess that means you are selling it soon?

its not really gonna hurt resale too much. just replace the wiring harness when you are gonna sell it.

who would look at the harness when buying a car?

just put some electrical tape around it to hide the splices

screw it, buy some wiring loom or something.... electrical tape has been mentioned above, thats the route most would choose, it it works perfecty fine, then no worries. Its like selling a car with a dirty motor... or a scratch in the paint... its used either way... no used car is perfect

if i was looking at a car and saw some sketchy headlight wiring i would deff say no to it, who knows what else they messed up

but yea, just put some of the heat shrink tubing on it air tight, and clean looking

I believe on the two piece lights there are two H7 bulbs, and then the fog bulbs.
