So I finally got around to installing the PSS9s and RS4 sway bar over the Xmas break. The install was fairly simple took about 40mins per wheel.

I must also thank Parks853 for giving me the heads up on rear ride height as the rear springs are a real PITA to adjust once mounted. I cant imagine trying to adjust them on the car, even trying to tweak them by 0.5mm seems impossible.

The day after the install I went to my local Audi dealer to get an wheel alignment as I knew things would be messed up. As you can see on the second measurement printout a lot of the initial measurements where in the red. Also by lowering the car my front camber cant be corrected to an optimal level. Its not a big deal just have remember to rotate the wheels.

So after a week of driving which included a 1000 mile round trip the suspension has settled at 64.2cm (25.29") fender height all round. The cars handling is just awesome day / night compared to the original sports suspension and 18mm sway bar.

Only some slight rubbing occurs is at the front whilst going up a curb with the steering fully locked thanks to the plastic clip on the top of the wheel liner.

I also experienced rubbing at the rear during our trip with the boot fully loaded with luggage, 2 passengers and a tank full of gas. My guess at the time the rear pf the car was sitting at 60cm (23.5"). To overcome this the rear suspension damping was set to 1 (firm). So a bumpy ride for the passengers but this did minimised rubbing around tight bends at high speed.

Nice ride height.

As for the alignment. Shouldn't you wait couple of days or even weeks for the suspension to set down?

Another satisfied PSS9 driver [;)].
Your car looks SO CLEAN with that drop. Absolutely perfect.
I also rub a bit in the rear with passengers, full tank of gas and luggage.

Go and get corner balanced!! The car will handle even better once this is done. It is WELL worth it!

I really had no choice as we headed out on our trip the very next day so i wanted to make sure everything was aligned before hand.

I do plan on getting the car corner balanced within a few weeks. This will be a good opportunity to get another alignment done and to compare the results. By this time the suspension would have had plenty of time and KM to settle in.

Thanks Simon, Im just waiting to take delivery of the R32. It landed (in Perth) during the last week of December. I wanted an 2007 compliance so a slight delay.

So it should be ready anyday now, then i can take the A4 off the road and hack out the ECU send it to APR and get the K04 in.

Not getting any rubbing unless the car is fully loaded. Then i get rubbing in the rear against the wheel liner.

And some slight rubbing occurs is at the front whilst going up a curb with the steering fully locked thanks to the plastic clip on the top of the wheel liner.

From when my rear was a bit too low, my wheel liner is shreded right next to the fender.

Depends on the light. Sometimes they look like they color match, and others they look dark. Especially when they are dirty. Overall, the look has grown on me.
