Do you like the way it works with the Symphony II? I have seen the XM Tuners going for $99 everywhere now and I am thinking it might be worth it since there isn't a great iPod solution out there yet. Let me know your praises/complaints.

While on the topic, does anyone know how to use VAG to make it work? I saw this link (http://audi.barrystuff.com/s4/satRadio/s4_sat_canBus.pdf) showing how to move the CAN plug to a different location however I am thinking this may not be required, could be wrong though.

You will have to move the CAn plug as described in your link. An easy way to check if it is already correct is to plug in the sat receiver. It will only be recognized by the receiver if the CAN connector is in the proper location. I did not have to use VAG-COM to make mine work.

Sound quality is very subjective. I currently have Sirius and have previously used an XM module. XM might be slightly better on the music channels. Most news/ talk channels are highly compressed on both services and are not great quality. You will find other opinions both ways by searching:)

Thats cool, no biggie on moving the CAN plug, just seeing if someone has done it different, the B7 has only been around for a couple years. As far as quality goes I have seen pros and cons for a couple years now on all different models of cars, I figure the Symphony isn't that great anyways so no biggie. I am pretty familiar with the search button, thanks though.

YEah, the Can plug is a must. I installed my receiver before checking on the plug. With the plug in the 'no-sat' location, the receiver did not even recognize the sat radio.

BTW, did not mean to hit you with a STFA!! AW style. It was just my experience in searching that neither service seems to have an edge.
