Does anybody know if the s4 DTM rear valance is going to fit a4 b7?
It looks kinda the same. I know that the dtm has a different bumper but what about the valance.?
Thanks.

i'm taking an educated guess saying no, just because it's slightly different bumper.

now if those s4 guys have be swapping the lower valance from the dtm to their s4, then pretty sure our it'll fit our a4 since we're interchangeable with the s4's.

but only a couple ways to really find out...find someone who done it or do it yourself.

good luck.

I still need a stock rear valence, if any of your switch your valence let me know if you want to sell the stock one. Either the non-sline one or quartz.

not sure if the DTM will fit.

I'll let you guys know. I'll be picking up the 25th anni rear bumper tomorrow and I'll have my buddy at his bodyshop see if they're swappable or not.

Ok, I picked up the 25th anni rear bumper a few hours ago and lugged it back. The DTM/25th anni bumper is ONE PIECE including the valence/diffuser portion with the fins.

So for FYI in the future the 25th anni bumper is a full-bumper replacement.

So those for everyone else, you cannot achieve the rear DTM look unless you buy the full bumper.

Just the rear, I'm still not sure what else I'm going to do with the front yet. If I ever go with the Oettinger front bumper or whatever else comes out you have first dibs then [:D]

That looks pretty good. How is it attached to the bumper? Got any more pics (side view)?

I like the Votex rear valence. I would buy it if I wasn't planning to get quad exhaust, because then I'll have to get S4 rear valence.

The DTM OEM front and rear bumpers will fit any B7. The rear CF trunk spoiler will only fit an S-Line trunk.

It is on STaSIS Challenge A4 Signiture series package cars.

If I remember correctly, I paid $249 for the Votex valence from ECS, and another $200 for paint. When B7's were still fairly new, Audi had "introductory pricing" on the Votex kit pieces and ECS reflected this too. I think they all (Audi and ECS) raised the price in the summer of '05, so it has been a while.

The install was fairly straight forward -- just a few screws. You can crawl under your car and see them on the OEM valence.

With that kind of pricing you might as well cough up another $100+ and go for the 25*th Anni:

Retail pricing, it really depends on which dealership would quote you what price. Despite the link below Ive been quoted at around $600 or so, never under. But I ended up getting it through a friend that works at an Audi dealership in SoCal so I didn't end up getting jacked for it- not sure if I'm allowed to post up my cost however.

Part# can be found here (description is: rear cover, that is all):

I'm still waiting on one last exterior part that needs paint and after that my car is going into shop, will take pictures of the finished product.

wrong thread but it's pretty easy. There's 2 or 4 bolts on each side and you have to push the tabs in the valance into the holes on the bumper, Brute force is ok because the valance is urethane and can bend a bit before being deformed.

to place the DTM rear bumper on our non-slines, you need to purchase the european bracket from the dealer or othr outsource for approx $600 and then purchase the DTM rear and have it installed to line up with euro brackets

Not necessarily, the bumper fits fine, the plastic brackets on the sides don't do much at all. The only thing they do is get in the way of the side vents on the bumper. Just get a metal file and sandpaper- shave them down for no cost at all- that eliminates the need to buy the euro dtm/25th anni brackets. I did that with my own car, have been running it like that for over 4 months and I have 0 problems.

nice bumper integration! I got hit in the rear a couple of times already(very minor) and always wanted to replace it with the dtm rear but was concerned if the rear side opening/vent would flow with the rest of the car. Keep us posted!!

Thanks! The 25th anni (with clearance for a dual tip exhaust, not quad like DTM) fits very well with the theme I'm going with. I'm not exactly ready to leak any of the photos with it on yet but in due time I'll post my car up. As for the side vents- they're actually not functional but I'm gonna take my handy Dremel out one of these days and make it functional.

As mentioned before- screws/bolts on the side, then use a screwdriver to help press down the tabs and pull the valence. I'll be honest I had my rear bumper off when I removed it so it was SO MUCH EASIER!

The screws are located on the sides of the valence, use a flat head screwdriver to push down on the tabs and push them out of the holes.
