Any feeback out there regarding an inexpensive fix for a faulty abs control unit? Mine has been out for some time now and due to the expensive cost I've been reluctant to have it replaced. Have seen some listings on ebay for refurbished ones.

Original diagnosis "Communication error between the instrument cluster and the ABS Control Unit."

The ABS is definately out. Wheels will lock.

Were you able to dismantle the warning light and whistle?

theres a write-up on audiworld how to fix the unit yourself... if youre afraid of doing the work yourself, theres a guy on here (or maybe it was vortex) that will repair the module for a cost of ~$100.... someone else chime in!!

Module Master is an option that a few people I know have sent their ABS unit to.
