Suspension question ... H&R/Bilstein or Koni Sport kit
i"m looking at getting a sports suspension for my 2003 A4 Avant 1.8T 5spd. I'm trying to decide between the H&R Sport sprigs with Bilstein and the Koni Sport Kit.
I was wondering if people have either or riden in one that has it and give me their impressions. What I am looking for is a sportier then the Sport Suspension from Audi. I don't want a super harsh suspension but i can live with a few bumps. I just don't want a kidney rattler.
Sorry I also posted this thread in the B6 forum before i saw the suspension forum ... my bad ...
thanks ...

I installed H&R coilovers and I thought that they were too low and too harsh. But after driving it for a couple of weeks I'm ok with it now. It also depends if you are going to sacrifice some comfort for a better looking height. Oh and fully adjustable sometimes is not, so make sure you ask.
I have the same issue. PureMS is having a great deal on the Koni sport kit. I need to know if they are any good.

I bought my A4 with the (regular) Audi Sports suspension just for optics.
I test drove an A4 with the S line suspension but I found it too stiff.
But on higher speeds, the car didn't feel right (too light) with the ordered suspension.
So I changed to the Bilstein B12-kit. In the beginning I thought "what have I done!"
But now I'm very happy with it. The car handling is completely changed (better) and when I'm driving in the higher speeds (in Germany), I feel completely relaxed with it.

Do you want ride height adjustability or no?
What if the dampers/springs place the front end of the car too high and the back too low, or vice versa?
