I want to paint my headlights black on the inside like the euro jetta/city jettas. I know some people have done it but cant find a close-up pic of it so I know where to paint without affecting the light output. anyone have/know where to find a pic of them?

Thanks ripple. how did you get the lens off and what did you use to seal it back up?

I bet he used an oven. 200 degrees for 30 min, I believe, will soften up the silicon enough to remove the lens. To reapply, use high grade clear silicon. It is VERY important that you do not touch or let anything get on the inside of your lens!!!

Quttrocket or Ripple, do either of you have more pics. The pic Quttrocket posted looks good, but I'd like to see more of the car.

you can remove the lens to just leave the housing by itself, this way you dont damage anything while its baking...

These were Evils, when I got them I pulled them apart to redo some sections and clean them up the way I wanted them.

I'll try to find some more pics of them on the car, there used to be some in the gallery but no longer.
