i've asked this in the past, and have searched AZ and AW (maybe not as thorough as some of you) and have gotten conflicting information

i have b6 s4 brake calipers and pads. since i'm usp i have read that the oem usp/rs4 wheels fit without spacers with these calipers. true or no true? do stock 17" sport 5spoke wheels also fit? i'm looking for these as winter wheels for next year

also, what exactly is needed? to my understanding, the master cylinder does NOT need to be upgraded if only changing the fronts (like i am doing). true or no true?

also, from what i have read, i won't need new carriers as the stock a4 1.8t carriers will work. i do plan to get SS brake lines, new pads and new brake fluid. any suggestions on which route?

basically, i'm looking for the upgrade on the extra parts i dont have and need and would suit me best for best performance. brake fade on wheels is not that important since i do clean my car once a week

lemme know and big thanks to all who can solve the riddles that some of us b6 a4s going for this upgrade face when searching and stumble on the conflicting information

Your wheels will all fit. Post a pic of what you have, and I will tell you if you have the right carriers.

not off the car but i'll post pics of the calipers i have. carriers are for 1.8t a4. i'm not going to change the pads and brake lines to ss lines and better pads (not sure yet which ones) and i know i need new rotors but not sure about carriers and i've decided to go w/solid rotors over cross drilled or slotted. love the look but not willing to change both front and rear rotors now

i'm assuming master cylinder stays the same if only fronts are changed

good to know usp wheels fit b6 s4 brakes with no spacers [up]
