I've been debating between going with a k04 set up or a GT2x setup. I'm not sure if I'm going to want more power if I went to a k04 and don't want to make it a waste of $1500, so I've pretty much eliminated that. I've been looking at the GT2x now and realized $1200 for the turbo and about $800 for the MIKA software and injectors I'd be putting way better numbers down. The only thing that is holding me back right now is being able to put the power to the ground. I have a FWD, and with exhaust and a chip I already spin my tires like crazy in 1st and 2nd gear.

it should be putting about 230-250whp, but since your FWD you'll get no drivetrain loss like the quattro guys. I hear nothing but bad things about the Mika software, might wanna look into unitronics. For your spinning issue get some better tires.....

check the classified there are 2 gt2x on there, but i had a 300 hp eclipse aND IT WAS FUN. Yes it is not easy yo get traction but youll learn how to drive, plus youll love it on the highway.

but i would go gtrs elim over the gt2x for the cooling and ball bearing, just for life of ther turbo, unless you factor in a turbo timer.

except i think the gt2x is pointless. go gtrs. im frd also and yes you do learn to drive it.

Yeah, really for an extra few hundred, you can get a far better turbo in a GTRS

Hmmm... some of the GTI guys have no worries putting gt35r's on their FWD cars, just get the GTRS and don't look back.

The GTRS is really looking at being the way to go. Who did you use for tuning? I just know I'm going to have a hard time putting that down. I'm sure any pull from around 40-50 would be fine.
