Tried searching on this topic but all i came up with was guys that put plates on their pedals. I drove another audi the other day and the clutch and gas pedal were a lot firmer then mine are. There was definatly a lot better responce. Would bleeding the clutch and tightening up a throttle cable help out at all? Bare with me I do body work and not so much wrenching. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks

did he have an aftermarket clutch?
as for the gas maybe his was DBW and yours is nDBW

his car has close to 150,000 so i'm sure it's not the original clutch but don't know what kind it is. what is the difference between dbw and ndbw?

DBW=drive by wire AKA throttle by computer

nDBW or DBC = non drive by wire mean the accelorator is connected to the throttle body by an actual cable.

DBW accelorator could be a bit lighter to the touch cause it's not really connected to anything besides a spring. The DBW obviously is attached to a cable and may be a bit stiffer.
