Hey, so my dad's birthday is coming up on the 19th.......I'm so used to getting him either clothes or cologne. But I want to get him somethign good this year. We have been working together running our own business for the last 2 years now....and i know its been stressful and I'd like for him to actually relax and get away for once.
So...........I want to get him a gift certificate to a nice spa or something where he can get a good massage. So I was wondering if any you know a good spa place in the bay area?? I would prefer somewhere either in the Peninsuly or San Francisco Area. So if you have any input on good spa's...please let me know.
i heard of some up in Napa

One of the best spas in the Bay IMO. No hook ups here though and out of any I mentioned you can make an entire day or afternoon out of this place. Wine, face, body, feet, nails, hair, everything... It all comes w/ a hefty price tag though.
San Francisco:
Lee's on 10th and Mission LOL... this is only for hapy endings from what I hear[eek]
I dont go to spas much but what I do monthly is a manicure/pedicure.

i LOVE costco. If i were getting married, i'd have my wedding registry there - too bad they dont have one there.
anyways, i was at a spa in napa in august..and my masseuse was telling me about two good spas in the peninsula - both by stanford shopping center. I can't remember what they are called though, but i've been meaning to look at spafinder.com

Yeah, I've been to a water spa in Palo Alto a few years ago. I forget the name of it, but they had nice jacuzzi rooms and did massages there. Pretty swank!
