well i got some new wheels off of a friend today. volvo pegasus wheels from a v70R.
i really need to find some adapters from a 5x112 car to 5x108 wheel. i was originally planning on selling these(we made a deal that he would get 1/3 profits) but i really like them and they are in great condition! and they have vredestein wintrac tries.[drive] i really hope to find some adapters so i can put these on!

so if anybody knows of a place that sells 5x112 to 5x108 adapters, it would be greatly appreciated![up]

those are some really nice and clean looking wheels, but phat chance with th adapters as far as my knowlege goes. I'm not saying there aren't any out there but if there are they would probobly makes your wheels stick out way past the wheel well. good luck with that.

adapters will need to be at least 20-25mm, so it'll stick those wheels really far out

luckily i has a high offset(ET46), so hopefully i can get these to work. maybe i will just have to get some rs4 fenders and quarter panels with the wider fenders[:p] [;)] .

yeah the spacers will make em jut out if you can even find them. my friends mom just got a 06 v70r and i always thought those would look good on an avant. good luck with it man.

Even if you find adapters.. I think you should lower that biatch first.

well considering the price i picked these up for, i can still afford suspension. i got these for $150 from a friend.

and offroader, i am pretty sure that they are Volvo Pegasus'.

ok, well this thread has made me think and do rough calculations. i am now not sure if i want to do this as it may be more than i was bidding for.

i dont want the wheels to be really far out--id even think twice if i had to roll my fenders to get them to fit.

they are an inch wider than stock(these are 8"), and im sure that that will fit no problem, but then it has a larger diameter(rim+tire) than stock so i am worried that i may rub on this thing:
does anyone know if it moves with the wheel/suspension? because the volvo wheels are about 1 inch higher, i dont want to hit this. i cant imagine it moves with the rest of the car, because i would rub with the stockers.

also, the 1 inch wider wheels + the 25mm adapters would put me out ~2 inches wider than stock, and as said that could be a problem. does the wheel go 1 inch further into the wheel well when it is wider than stock, or does it go outwards? if it goes in then(well first i might have to worry about rub) i wouldnt be much further out than stock because it would really only be the adapter pushing out.
so yea, if i went 2 inches out, i would be "down and out" as the vw'ers say, only not so much "down". I think i would make it with only ~1 inch out.

thanks to all of you who have been helpful here.
