Help with scion TC

Hello anyone @ tire rack

I'm looking to upsize to 18's on my tc, it's not currently lowered but may be in the future.

I found the tire size on the factory 18's is 225/40, but don't know what offset I should be within for an 18x8 wheel.

I prefer the tires not to stick out past the fender, and I don't like the tires sucked way inside the fender either, and I don't want to worry about rubbing if I lower.

n/m the wheels i wanted are too wide, i'm just gonna replace the stock 215/45/17's
