Hey guys, im able to get a new gt2x for quite a bit less than atp sells it and im planning on getting it. Yes i know its oil colled and at full retail price the difference between it and the gtrs are minimal but thats not what i wanna know. Can i run this turbo on MTM k04 software with mtm injectors, or should i go with ctapp tuning. I called hima dn he said he can do something up for me but that's like 700 buck, and for me to upgrade to mtm k04 software is 120 bucks. Will this work with a MBC?

Thanks in advance
the car is a 2001 dbw a4 1.8t quattro

doesnt the mtm k04 software just run a 5bar fpr? or is it new injectors too?

if its just the 5bar, i wouldnt.

i suppose if you know how to log and interpret the data you might be able to...

the giac k04 hammer file wouldnt be a bad idea either...

i have an 01 dbw so they require new MTM injectors

i think you could.. do you have a good understanding of timing/afr/boost/egts?

i'd try it... yeah id start out with an mbc. you might even be able to run with the n75 and mbc in parallel... you will just have to try it out and see...

let me know if the turbo lasts you more than 5k miles though. plenty of failures on aw/az

do you seriously think it might only last that long? i guess just because its only oil cooled?

^ good advice but yes, he's going to have to have some knowledge of tunning and a WB O2 would be very helpful.

the pc-16 file is for ndbw cars like yours, tunerb5.

the giac k04 hammer file is for 2001s.
