How much boost can you safely run from a gtrs on 91 oct?

or is it going to be dif for every car/setup? slowly turn up boost while watching EGTs/AFR/Timing?

i have an apr stage 3+wth a gtrs, it runs 10 psi it creeps to 12 or 13 then it gets cut back to just under 10, i wouldnt run more than 12psi

lol something is definitely wrong with your setup. i am sure i will be fine running AT LEAST 20psi.

22psi is what the file from unitronics requests w/the n75.

im just wondering if its a bad idea to run 25psi.

I'd say around 20psi on 91 is just about the limit....20-23 on 93 and to get 25, I'd say 104 min. that's just based off what I've read in the past.

yeah you should go over to the apr stg3 forums and see if they will help you out. your car could be much faster.

it is faster when i switch the ECU to the 93 octain setting, nothing wrong with the car, but on 91 octain setting its set up like stock and you get boost cut... apr said it was normal

Well you can run the higher boost but your timing curve will be much lower and you could end up getting some timing pull. If you plan on running 25psi make sure you run a 50/50 mix of 100 or more.

iirc, you are the owner of mmart's old car....you run a full GT28RS, not a GTRS....yes there is difference. Turn up the boost anyways, i believe that file is written for 23 psi. Correct me if im wrong though.

^Yes, you should be running way more boost than 10-12psi. I didn't even know the APR kits had an MBC. WTF is your setup?

He doesn't have a MBC. He was commenting that his setup only pushes 10-12 psi on the 91 octane setting.

He's got the APR stage 3+ setup...
