I tried to install a TP myself and I can tell.... Leave it for the PROS!!!
After get all the stuff disconnected I couldn't take out the cat and switch for the TP... There's no room to make the cat pass through and be released under the car...
I'll probably have this installed by Eurocode on tuesday and I wanna see how it is possible.. lol
Since I disconnected the battery just for safety purposes when I started my car the ESP was on and the windows won't work with one-touch bottom.
I was afraid something went bad and I was expecting the CEL to be on since I was dealing with the cat.
After a few minutes driving the ESP went off and the windows worked again. When I parked I realized that my remote key didn't work. I wait untill today and it still doesn't work. How can I make it work again? will the spare remote key fail to work also? Any help is welcome...

insert your key into the ignition....then turn to the on position
then off
but don't start the car
just do this
turn on, off, on, off, on, and finally off
.....try it
and see what happens
worked for me

yeah i was pretty scetchy about this working, but some how it did. The first time i tried it, it didn't work then i tried it again and was working great. Was freaking out cause i didn't want to have to go to dealer and get ripped off for some programming fee cause i disconnected the battery from car for few seconds

ye i hear ya
Ohh thanks! Ive had this problem sooo many times! All i have heard is that you can open the car via the keyhole on the trunk and byt that "code" the transmitter. But since i have an Avant, i dont have that... Its weird that you can lock the car with the button but not unlock it. And I'm SOOO(!!!) feed up with having to open my car by turning the key and by doing so setting of the alarm in a crowded carpark... *as some animal in Madagascar says: Smile and wave guys, just smile and wave...*
Have any of you got like all warnings you can get when starting the car after reconnectiong the battery? I got it last time when i blowed the fuse to my amps and disconnected the battery to save my self from getting hurt. It showed that i was out of washerfluid, low on oil, low on colant, low on brake oil, low on everything basicly. But after i turned of the car and started it again all was fine and the nice green "OK" turned up. :s spooky
