Speed traps all along 280

Yesterday I saw 2 ppl getting pulled over within 2 miles

Today I saw 1 cop outside his car speed gunning people and radioing ahead to his buddies. Between Edgewood and SF, I saw 6 cops, 4 had already gotten people, and 2 were lying in wait.

I need to write you in as my legal counsel. Maybe you share a name with some high priced attorney or known gangsta that no one wants to mess with?

OR maybe you are!

Are you serious. CHP always goes to court. Unless he pulled you over in city streets or something.

City cops, they are the ones that never show. If a city cop pulls you over on the HW (CHP territory) they wont show.

The last time i was in court, there was nothing but CHP outside the courtroom. I didnt recognize the officers face who pulled me over (on the HW), but i did remember it was city police (mtn view police specifically) and since all those officers were CHP, I smiled and had my case dismissed. [up][:D]

I was on 880N the other day and there was this bike officer off the left hand shoulder pointing his gun at people. I think I was going about 85 ish. Saw him at the last moment too because of the van in front of me, but the van i was following was doing about the same speed as me. The bike cop just kept gunning traffic. I guess hes checking the flow of traffic. If traffic is going ~80mph, he probably wants the dude doing 90-100 + mph. This was the fast part of 880N too, right after the 237 exit.

For me they never have showed. Ever, ever, ever, and I put that on everything[;)]

Here is from the last few I can remember

1996 - Hayward off Industrial at the street races. Caught on the line ready to race. Sited for driving on the wrong side of highway. Not guilty pleed CHP no show at trial.

2000 - Walnut Creek highway 680 sighted for unsafe lane change. No signal and I threaded the needle. Not guilty pleed CHP no show at trial.

2002 - Rodeo/Crocket Highway I80 sighted for speeding 80 in a 65. Not guilty pleed CHP no show at trial.

2004 - Davis highway I80 sighted for speeding 90 in a 65. On this occasion, I was found guilty because I did not show up to court and also got an FTA (failure to appear). Who knows if the CHP would have shoed up or not. Court was in Sacramento.

I have a couple more between 1994 and 1996 but I just dont remember those.

I have had one cop show up in court and it was a cop from Vallejo.

If I were both of you check your citation for a court date. It might be on there. If not, call the number. The last thing you need is a Failure To Appear. If the court date is on your ticket, you cant make an excuse that you didnt get it in the mail.

Just stay on top of it and all is good. I had neglected one of mine out of Contra Costa County and when I got stopped for beat I had a bench warrant. Had to do two weeks in county prison in both Fairfield and Martinez.

whats funny is they've been patrolling 280 with a vengence and leaving the 101 W-I-D-E open. [;)] [up]

I've hit 3 digit speeds on the 101 in the pm hours at nite and in the middle of the day.
