I think my car isn't pulling as strong as it should be right now...
What are the possible sources for the boost leak?

vac lines for sure
also check that L shaped hose towards the front right of the engine..thats a common place as well. do a pressure leak test..and if i were you i'd replace all your vac lines with rubber..and not the braided oem style ones

you need a boost gauge. It could all be in your head.

Do I really need a boost gauge? I just don't have enough fund for a boost gauge right now as I just bought the car and am saving up for the HID valeo Ecodes.
But I will certainly change all the vac lines. How much should I look forward to pay my mechanic to change all the vac lines?

its something you can easily do yourself..but if you took it to a mechanic..about 1-2 hrs of labor?

a vdo boost gauge should only set you back like 40 bucks. Cut a hole in your vent and you got a nice boost gauge.

hid ecodes are not needed, a boost gauge in our cars is a must.
