I just picked up some Tein SS off an S4 (B6/B7)

I talked to a few shops and they still were not sure and I know the spring rates are going to be different.
Euro-Code and Euro-Tech confirmed that they'll fit.

Now my question is... Any recommendations for the damping adjustment?
I'm still new at this whole situation.

The S4 suspension will be a bit stiffer in the front to accomdate the heavier V8. Might have to go a little lower in the front if you do your measurments off the car. Other than that everything should be good. Dampening depends on how stiff you want the car to be.

Yeah, I understand that, and this is actually my first pair of full coilovers.

Well, to end my confusion, The damping settings is different between the S4 and A4s, so I'd have to play around with that right?

I don't know anything about the Tein kit. I would give there tech rep a call and I bet he will steer you in the right direction. The CO's are going work great. Just get some advice from them on the settings.

Alright cool. I'm getting them installed tomorrow, so hopefully I won't have a problem.[drive]

Do you have a Quattro model or the FWD?

I believe that the S4/Quattros suspension have different rear shocks compared to the FWD.

I called a few shops and they said it's not a problem, it will fit.

I do have the FWD suspension though.

I called Euro-Tech right now and the main guy said he's not 100% sure, but they do have the same lower control arm in the rear. =X

Talked to Eurocode once again and they said they'll DEFINITELY fit... Just will be really stiff.

Is the ride alot stiffer? I have a chance to pick up the same ones pretty cheap, but i dont track the car, just want a nice sporty ride for daily driving.
What did they do with the damping adjustment?

They ride great.
I enjoy them and they ride pretty good. Especially since the spring rates are different. I thought it would be an overkill, but it's fine for me. =)
