Pretty cold outside yesterday but I had set up two cars for the day....the E500 had tons of swirls from the dealer washes and scratched everywhere.

Lots of paint correction.

Nice job on the E5hundy! Hope the owner was impressed because those were some horrible swirl marks and it definitely was cold. Myself, I'd never let anyone touch my car unless it was ME.

Thanks Pierre, I was using IP with the green side of the pad. with probably 15lbs or more of pressure on the PC with 5 as a speed.

phil - any times on cleaning the engine and any easy ways to coat all the plastic parts in the vinyl treatment? your engines always look so clean and the treatment applied so evenly. thanks.

Thanks EBG 18T I appreciate it, I guess its just practice I probably did well over 30 engine details this summer. Nuts when you think about it. I would really just say practice and I can't tell you how much Adam's VRT and In and out help.

Even when it streaks on paint you can just use your MF towel to wipe it right off.

I guess the true magic to it is In and Out. Its a forgiving product. I also applied most of in the garage.

Also I typically wash the engine first, clean the wheels, wash the car and then go back to the engine dress it so that whatever might get on the paint you can clean it before you polish and go on to paint correction.

I hope that helps.
