I currently have the blitsafe adapter hookup for the ipod, which I like very much. I'm looking to hook up an XM reciever in a similar fashion. I would love a direct hook up much like the blitsafe to the CDC because I want it to sound good, and I don't want to have to power it thought the cig lighter. Anyone done this yet? Got pics?

When I was out looking for the same product I was told there was no "piggie-backing" systems and it was one or the other. I would be interested to see if any new products have come out yet.

I can't remember where i found it but there is a system that lets you have three inputs as long as one of them is a cd changer or phatnoise. It connects in the cd changer area and has a 3 position switch that mounts up front.

I found one that works with a secondary source. It looks just like the 3 source unit.

I found it.

link to unit with 2 additional inputs (http://www.soundgate.com/index.php?request=product.details&categoryid=83&productid=203&usereferrer=1&)

The SDSISO package, consisting of a SDS1v2 interface and required cable, allows the connection of two set of auxiliary RCA inputs into some 1998-2003 Audi vehicles when there is a separate CD changer present.

Features Include:

* Add multiple audio sources into factory radio
* Great for portable music devices
* Factory-match connectors for ultimate reliability

Installation Overview:

* Plugs in at back of radio
* Requires 12V+ ignition and 12V- ground
* May require splicing into factory wiring

$82.95 Part # SDSISO

Hmm.. i kinda still want to keep at least one charging without having to use the cig lighter. Dice seems to have something that is closer to what i want:

but the XM will still be left uncharged.
