Hello, My name is Jigz and I own a 2000 Mitsu Galant. I have an opportunity to acquire a 1996 Audi A4 from one of my family members. The car is currently sittin in his garage with shocks that need replacing bad. well, I was figuring that springs would be needed to be replaced also. My question is I know Tein makes a Basic damper application for this year audi and I was wondering if there was any specific tool that I would need to gather to be able to take the strut off and put the new one on. If acquired, the car will end up to be a daily driver while My Galant gets the full street/strip treatment. I want to lower it in which why i opted for the Teins. any help would be appreciated and I'm looking forward to the info I will get from here.

no special tools needed. just some time and patience. there is a step by step DIY suspension install guide floating around somewhere. If you do a search on here and on audiworld it should pop up.
