Just wondering about the mileage on BT cars out there. I just turned 110000 as of this afternoon, and i've been thinking about whether i should save up for a gt2871r kit, or save for a newer a4. I have an AEB engine, so thats good, but im still wondering.

how many miles on the car when you put the kit in/on.
how many miles now.
etc. etc. etc.

141k when the kit went on and ~146k now no probs. I can get whatevergas mileage I want. under full boost runs, I can see the needle move. Under daily driving (like a granny), I'll bet I could get 400 mi's to the tank if needed.

i just thought about it... when i was getting 225 per tank i didnt have 2nd gear so its probably much better now

im not worried about gas mileage as much as i am longevity of the automobile. i just dont want to dump thousands of dollars in it and then have a resale value of 0.

if you're thinking resale value then don't BT. you could concievably go back to stock but it's just more of a hassle than I would want. I would think that BT car are more difficult to sell too.

i don't understand what you're worried about when the car has no resale value to begin with

^^^^exactly. im never gonna sell my car especially after putting all my money into. ill only put more money into. this is a hobby for me and i enjoy modding my car. resell is not an option for me.

if you are going to spedn the money on BT, dont sell your car a little down the road. it wont be worth it.
