1993 audi 90 quattro -> 30v

would a 30v motor out of a 99 audi a4 fit in a 90 quattro? i figure it can because the 96-98 a4 had a 12v 2.8 just like the 90 quattro?

The dimensions appeared the same in the 30v as my old 2.8L 90s, but looks may be decieving. Both have the 90 degree V6 engines and 169cubic inches of displacement. the 30v has 190hp to the 24v's 172 hp, frankly you'd get better gains with a better intake and exhaust. IMHO of course.

the bore and the stroke are the same too. 3.19 x 3.56 iirc. i have a special engine i want to put in it beleive me it will be better than just an intake and exhaust.

Then get in in there. A stealth 90 would be killer! Theres that 80 thats turning very fast 1/4 mile times.

i hate the 2.8 that is in my 1996 A6 avant... it is a total dawg!!!
